This session will focus on transitional justice in Syria and look at questions such as, how it might be pursued, and what models, mechanisms, and processes could help meaningfully balance truth, accountability, and long-term stability. The discussion will explore both formal justice processes and grassroots or community-led initiatives, as well as how experiences from other contexts can inform Syria’s path forward.
This is the fourth session in our APSN-ARI joint series titled "Politics of Transition in Syria", which brings together Syrian and international scholars to reflect on the political, social, and economic dynamics shaping Syria’s post-conflict trajectory.
